NON-CREDIT COURSES IN ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
This semester, the English department offers a special workshop for students attending the Introduction to College English class who feel they need extra help with the grammar and composition elements covered in class. Students who wish to enroll will be required to attend one 100-minute workshop every week. The workshop will be divided as follows: in the first hour, students work individually on grammar exercises that address a specific grammar issue covered in the ICE course or a feature of academic writing, and in the second hour, students are welcome to bring their written work to get some individual help with their papers or other class assignments. Students interested in joining should send an e-mail to Isabelle Guy: email@example.com The workshop is open to all interested students.
