Marathon d'écriture intercollégial - 2 et 3 mars 2012
24 heures… 4 lieux… 1 thème… et plus de 200 étudiantes et étudiants provenant des cégeps du Québec qui laissent couler les mots et qui produisent, individuellement, plusieurs courts textes.
Périodes d’écriture libres et ateliers de création animés par des écrivains et des auteurs québécois ponctuent le marathon qui prend aussi des airs de concours littéraire intercollégial. Le premier prix? Rien de moins qu’une publication du texte dans l'hebdomadaire culturel Voir. À vos mots : rédigez

St Patrick's Day Parade Saturday March 24th
Come walk with us. You are all invited to join us for an afternoon of music and fun in
the parade.
We offer bus transportation to and from the parade.
Make-up artist before the parade to help "get into character".
Snacks before you leave.

Defi Pelure de Banane, week of March 26th
Again this year, SLC will participate in the "Défi Pelure de Banane ". In 2009 we actually came in first place in the region against the othr cege ps. What did we win you ask? A truck load of bananas and we loved it!
They were all donated to Maison l'Aube Rivière. During the week of March 26th, bananas and apples will be available around school to motivate and help students and staff participate in the "défi". Come to room 272 or the reception and show us your fruit and/or vegie and we will give you a coupon. At the end of the week, Friday, with all the participation coupons a draw will take place with great prizes.

Blood Drive
SLC will hold its annual blood drive for Hema Québec on Thursday, April 12, from 14:00 to 21:00 in the gym.
Did you know that your body contains 5 litres of blood? We only want 0.45 L. Come on down...
Défi têtes rasées.
Thursday, April 12 in the cafeteria from 12:00 to 14:00. Participants will have their head shaved in the Cafeteria We want to know if you are interested in putting a

SLC Reaches Out: Community activity day. Thursday April 19 2012.
On Thursday April 16, 2012, as a community of hundreds of students and employees, Champlain St. Lawrence will dedicate one day to make a difference by taking on volunteer projects that meet the needs of the Greater Quebec Area community.
We look forward to this event and join hands to lend a helping hand to our community.
