APPLICATION DEADLINES
March 1, 2013: For the Fall 2013 semester (the system is open, however, please note that your application will be considered as having arrived after the deadline)
November 1, 2013: For the Winter 2014 semester (the system will be open around mid-September 2013)
Late applications and program transfers are considered only as space permits. Please note that the deadline to apply for the Fall Semester 2013 is March 1, 2013. All applications received after this date will be considered LATE and treated similar to Round 2 Applications. Places are limited.

ENGLISH TEST: If you did not study in an English high school, you must write an English test that will help us evaluate your ability to pursue college studies in English. The cost of this test is $30.00 (non-refundable). Under certain conditions you may be exempted from writing the Enlish Test. For more information click on English Test, etc. You can print out a form to complete and mail to us, along with your $30 English Test Fee.
IF YOU WERE BORN IN QUÉBEC AND ARE CURRENTLY ATTENDING A HIGH SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF QUÉBEC
Once you have applied online you will see what documents you will need to provide us with to complete your application. They will probably include:
- A copy of your latest high school Secondary V results. This will help us asses that you are presently registered in the courses which are cegep program pre-requisites.
- A non-refundable $30.00 Application Fee. Please make your cheque or money-order payable to Champlain Regional College.
NOTE: If you were born in another province, please include a copy of one of your parents’ valid Québec Health Insurance card as well as a copy of your birth certificate with parents names.
NOTE: IF YOU WERE BORN IN A COUNTRY OTHER THAN CANADA AND ARE NOW A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR LANDED IMMIGRANT you must submit a copy of your Canadian Citizenship Certificate and/or Certificat de selection du Québec (C.S.Q.) or IMM 1000 or 5292 (Government of Canada).
IF YOU ARE TRANSFERING FROM ANOTHER CÉGEP
Once you have applied online you will see what documents you will need to provide us with to complete your application. They will probably include:
- A copy of your cégep transcript (Bulletin d’études collégiales). You must also include a list of the cégep courses in which you are presently registered (if applicable).
- A non-refundable $30.00 Application Fee. Please make your cheque or money-order payable to Champlain Regional College.
NOTE: If you were born in another province, please include a copy of one of your parents’ valid Québec Health Insurance card as well as a copy of your birth certificate with partents names.
NOTE: IF YOU WERE BORN IN A COUNTRY OTHER THAN CANADA AND ARE NOW A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR LANDED IMMIGRANT you must submit a copy of your Canadian Citizenship Certificate and/or Certificat de selection du Québec (C.S.Q.) or IMM 1000 or 5292 (Government of Canada).
IF YOU ARE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT AND STUDIED IN A PROVINCE OUTSIDE OF QUÉBEC:
Students attending secondary schools in a province other than Québec can apply to St. Lawrence if they are in good academic standing and have the program pre-requisites required. They must have completed or be in the process of completing the following:
- Alberta Grade XI (67-100 credits)
- British Columbia Grade XI
- Manitoba Grade XI (minimum 13 credits)
- New Brunswick Grade XI (minimum 12 credits)
- Newfoundland Grade XI (minimum 24 credits)
- Nova Scotia Grade XI (minimum 12 credits)
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma Grade XI (minimum 22 credits)
- Prince Edward Island Grade XI (minimum 12 credits)
- Saskatchewan Grade XI (minimum 16 credits)
You may be required to have your academic background evaluated by SRACQ, if so you will be e-mailed a form. Along with the form you will need to provide SRACQ with your report cards, etc. Once your academic background has been evaluated we will receive the evaluation. SRACQ will charge you approximately $70.00 for this service.
Applicants must apply online and provide us with the following according to the message you receive:
A transcript including the final grades from the previous year.
- A transcript including the final grades from the previous year.
- A mid-term report of the courses in progress (if applicable) which indicates the expected date of graduation.
- A non-refundable $30.00 application fee. Please make your cheque or money-order payable to Champlain Regional College.
- A birth certificate indicating your place of birth and both of your parents’ names.
- If you are applying into the Social Science Program or the Business Administration Program, include course descriptions of Mathematics courses taken in Grades 10 and 11.
- If you are applying in Science, include course descriptions of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics courses taken in Grades 10 and 11.
- IMPORTANT: Québec law requires all students who are not deemed residents of Québec to pay additional fees of $1,198.00 per semester. These fees are subject to change without notice.
IF YOU ARE A FOREIGN STUDENT
We will provide you with a form to have your academic background evaluated by SRACQ. Along with the form you will need to provide SRACQ with your report cards. (Note we also need a copy of your report cards for your file.) Once your academic background has been evaluated we will receive the evaluation. SRACQ will charge you approximately $70.00 for this service.
Applicants must apply online and mail us the following according to the message you receive:
1. A copy of your academic records.
2. A Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (C.A.Q.) or A Certificat dd selection du Québec (C.S.Q.), which must be obtained from the Ministère des communautés culturelles et de l’immigration of the Province of Québec. Compulsory by the beginning of the semester.
3. A Student Visa from the Federal Government of Canada (or other legal immigration document) which is valid for the entire academic year for which you are applying. Compulsory by the beginning of the semester.
Prior to the start of the semester, foreign students must provide proof of enrollment in a comprehensive health and accident insurance plan as well as pay the additional fees of $4,949.00 (per semester) as is required by Québec law. These fees are subject to change without notice.
